“As Club Captain of the Armidale Rifle Club I am always thinking of new ways to introduce new people to our sport, with the aim of increasing our club membership into the future. After receiving our first booking through the Try Shooting website, we were keen to see how the process worked. We had a father and son booked through Try Shooting and the club members really embraced the day. We had an excuse to drag out a rimfire rifle onto the range for some short range (80m) tuition, followed by a centrefire range session at 700 yards. The clients loved the coaching and the camaraderie on the range, and we look like we will have 2 new members in the New Year from the experience. I really applaud Try Shooting for this brilliant initiative, as it is an easy way to get newcomers on a range and into our sport. Armidale Rifle Club look forward to being a part of this journey.”
