Ideal for beginners wanting to try the sport of shooting or for anyone who wants to have a go at shooting a high powered rifle over long distances.
Includes
- Safety briefing & formalities
- Basic operations of a firearm
- Explanation of range operations
- 24 rounds of a 7.62 or 5.56 high powered target rifle
- Approx 2-3 hours event (depending on group size)
- Distances from 300m to 800m (depending on range program)
- Image of your e-target
- Friendly competition
- Safety equipment provided on the day
Choose between Target Rifle, F-Class or Sporter Hunter on the day.
NOTE: That the maximum allocated time per person, per shoot is 25 minutes. If a person has issues sighting or using a firearm competently and takes longer than the allocated time, or due to the group size is unfairly impacting the broader group, that person may have to forego rounds in order to complete the session in time and this will constitute completion of their booking.

We are both total novices and really enjoyed our day at Try Shooting. The equipment is top notch and Jim is a great teacher.
Really fun and well accommodated by the supervisor. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to try.
